Luogo ameno con personale delizioso e pronto a soddisfare ogni bisogno del cliente con cordialità e professionalità. Un weekend in questa tenuta rigenera l’anima e fa bene al cuore. Consiglio questo luogo a chiunque voglia mangiar bene, dormire bene, e rilassarsi a bordo piscina immerso nel verde. Torneremo senz’altro.

Such a lovely place. We stayed here for 4 nights in a lovely room with its own garden next to the pool. The place is in the mountains with lovely views to nearby villages on the hill. We ate here for 3 of the nights and all were amazing, the food and the local wine was top notch. If the weather is nice, you can eat out on the terrace which was lovely, unfortunately it rained on our last night and we ate inside but still lovely. The staff were very good and very attentive even recommending places to go and where to eat out if we wanted to but the food was so nice we only went out for pizza one night. Breakfast is varied continental style and very tasty. Would recommend and we would come back. Definitely need a car to explore the surrounding areas.

It is truly an escape to a timeless world that you think only exists in movies or literature. Experience the grandeur of this villa, with all the classic essentials and details yet with the luxury of modern day travel, think classic, Romantic four-post-bed, an old style spacious bathroom, yet also excellent wifi. The feel of a villa is that it had been in the family Fillipi for centuries. Host Signora Filippi herself exudes the timeless class and elegance, as if perfectly cast for the role of Lady of the manor. Have an aperitivo in the traditional salon with traditional furniture and fireplace, yes, with the woodfire burning. Regional food was delicious, at dinner and at breakfast, with old school polite, speedy and thoughtful service, the way service should be, but you rarely find anymore.The staff take pride in serving their guests. Definitely the recommendation for a Romantic retreat, in Summer (cooler in the hills!) and in fall and winter (to hike, read and spend Romantic evenings by the fire). We will definitely be back.
